This emerald is a transparent 1.11 carat radiant shape specimen, with dimensions 6.27 x 6.21 x 4.72 mm, featuring a true radiant cut that merges a brilliant style crown with a precise, faceted pavilion to maximize light return. The cutter preserved weight while opening the table to enhance the intense green saturation, resulting in a vivid color intensity that reads strong under both daylight and artificial illumination. Clarity is graded included at eye level, with natural internal characteristics that contribute to the gem character without compromising overall transparency, and enhancement is standard, applied to stabilize and visually integrate surface reaching fissures in a way that is consistent with trade practice. Polish is excellent, the facet junctions are clean and crisp, and the trimmed corners of the radiant silhouette reduce stress concentrations while offering a contemporary square form that sits securely in a four or four and a half prong setting or in a tailored bezel for daily wear.
The journey from mine to market reflects careful stewardship at each stage, beginning with responsible extraction in Zambia, where selective mining yields pockets of high quality material. Rough crystals were examined for habit and inclusion pattern, oriented to favor color retention over excessive weight recovery, then transferred to a specialist lapidary where the decision to execute a radiant schema was chosen to balance brilliance, color saturation, and durability. Cutting parameters focused on crown height, pavilion depth, and table proportion to control light leakage and to emphasize the stone core, while recurring polishing sequences refined the facets to an excellent finish. After cutting, the gem underwent standard clarity enhancement, followed by stringent quality control, color grading, and documentation at The Natural Emerald Company, where each gem is photographed and assessed for cut consistency and market presentation. The finished 1.11 carat emerald arrives ready for bespoke mounting, offering jewelers a reliably cut, intensely colored centerpiece that combines Zambian provenance, skilled lapidary technique, and the finishing standards of our house, suitable for collectors and designers who prioritize technical excellence and natural character.
