This emerald began its story deep within the ancient rocks of Zambia, where hydrothermal forces coaxed chromium and vanadium into a crystalline embrace, gifting the world with an intense green that is rare and immediately arresting. Carefully extracted by experienced hands, this 1.91 carat emerald, cut into a precise emerald cut and measuring 8.30 x 6.32 x 5.16 mm, was selected for its transparent body and very slightly included clarity evaluated at eye level, qualities that allow its saturated color to sing without distraction. Once the emerald arrived in our atelier it was set into a design that both protects and amplifies its presence, a ring crafted entirely in platinum 950 for enduring strength and cool contrast. Surrounding the center are white pear shaped natural diamonds weighing approximately 0.15 carats, and white round natural diamonds in two groups weighing approximately 0.30 carats and 0.21 carats, all graded Very Slightly Included in clarity and F in color, chosen to provide a brilliant halo and tapered shoulders that lift and focus light into the emerald. The emerald cut offers broad, open facets that showcase depth of color rather than flashy scintillation, and the calibrated selection of VS1, VS2 diamonds ensures a seamless, luminous frame that enhances perceived size and presence.
