Measuring 8.79 x 6.96 x 5.05 mm, and cut with a mixed brilliant style, the stone balances fire and depth. The vivid color saturation that first arrests the eye is a direct echo of its Zambian origin, while its slightly included clarity when evaluated at eye level speaks to its natural character. In the hands of our master setters the emerald found its ideal companion in platinum 950, a metal that both protects and magnifies. Platinum has a cool white tone that offers the purest contrast to the vivid green, allowing the emeralds color to read truer and more intense than it might against warmer metals. The design lifts the gem above the band on a refined gallery, the prongs arranged to secure the stone while keeping the table open to light.
